I have 2 grown up daughters and 2 grandchildren. The elder daughter is a dental nurse and the youngest is currently working with me as my assistant whilst undertaking childcare qualifications.
I am Ofsted registered.
I enjoy reading thrillers, playing with my grandchildren and doing crosswords.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 30 years and truly love my job. I like to provide a home from home environment for the children I care for.
Even though I have been looking after children for a long time, I understand there are still things I can learn and therefore try to go to as many courses as possible regarding childcare and education.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education and am a qualified First Aider. I feel my best qualification is the experience I have gained through minding a wide range of ages. One child I cared for from the age of 2 until he was 13, another from the age of 5 till he was 14. I have just said goodbye to a family that I have had for the last 17 years.
I feel I have achieved something when the children I care for tell their parents that they enjoy coming to my house. My job is so rewarding and makes me smile everyday. My philosophy is a happy child is a good child.
My Availability
I have a school run to collect children from the Hayes primary school. I am unable to drop off or collect from Harris.
My preferred working hours are between 8.00am and 5.45pm, Monday to Thursday. I will consider full or part time hours throughout the year. I can do term time only for school children but if care is not required in the school holidays a small retainer is required to keep the placement. I do have places available for the school holidays, Monday to Thursday.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
I accept childcare vouchers and tax free childcare and can offer the 15 hours free funding for three/four year olds,two year olds and from 9 months.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at The Hayes Primary School

Lynne has been our child minder for 3 years now and she is brilliant!!
She has been taking and collecting my eldest son to school during this time and in september my youngest will start too! He can't wait!!
My boys adore her and love the days when she does the school run.
I would highly recommend Lynne to be your childminder, she was recommended by a friend and Im so thankfull to have found her!
