Bright Horizons Nursery Surrey 2022 -Present-day
Nursery Practitioner
- Since 2022, I have been a key member of the Bright Horizons nursery staff working in
various day nurseries in Woking and Guildford.
- I am responsible for promoting and ensuring child welfare, protection, and safety.
- I am required to plan, create, and implement engaging activities for all children and
ensure their development needs are met daily.
- I have helped improve the service offered by Bright Horizons by developing and
maintaining strong parent relationships and reviewing performance questionnaires.
- I work in a collaborative manner with my colleagues to maintain a positive working
environment and team mentality.
Private Au Pair London and America 2019 -2022
Au Pair
- I have had three separate placements working as a fulltime live in au pair in Fulham,
Shepherds Bush, and Pennsylvania, ranging from 2 - 9 months.
- Each of these roles involved the full range of au pair duties, including, caretaking for
multiple children aged 1-7 years old where I was responsible for their full daily routines
from morning until night.
- I helped assist in the development of the children I cared for by managing afterschool
activities, teaching languages, and assisting with homework etc.
- During my placement in America, I worked with a child who suffered from behavioural
challenges, which has helped broaden my experience.
- I have developed strong relationships with each of the children I have cared for and still
maintain contact with these families and children.
