My Summary

My Experience

I first started to gain experience within childcare back in high school when I attended work experience at a local nursery. Fast forward 5 years and I now work in that exact nursery as an employee not just a high school student for work experience. During high school I worked at a creche that catered for children from the ages of 3 months- 12 years and I absolutely loved that job with a passion. I then finished sixth form and went on to work in the children’s hospital with severely ill children in critical condition in intensive care which brought out my most nurturing, loving and caring side to me. I then went to work at the women’s hospital where I was a maternity assistant and assisted with antenatal care, assisting the midwives through the women’s birth and the postnatal care of both mother and baby. My early 20’s I worked in a nursery and currently I work in a baby hospice caring for critically ill and end of life patients from the age of 0–5.

My Qualifications

GCSE’s in Maths, English, Science, Geography & Citizenship.
OCR Level 2 in Child development
BTEC Diploma in Health & Social Care
DBS
First Aid trained & Complex needs trained e.g tracheostomy/gastrostomy feeds/ng feeds

Depending on shifts. Days/night/weekends.
