My Requirements

We are looking for a kind and caring nanny to help us look after our lovely daughter, Ada. She has had a bit of a rough start and was born with a rare genetic condition that has caused cerebral palsy, epilepsy and developmental delay. She is doing really well at the moment, is making steady progress and has now been seizure free for over a year! She is incredibly cute and will charm you if you meet her!

We are currently looking for childcare, particularly someone with special needs experience and first aid training, so that we're confident that Ada is not only in safe hands but that she'll benefit from lots of activities and fun to aid in her development. We have a lovely nursery room with loads of sensory toys, lights, instruments, books and messy play options to have fun in. Ada also loves getting outside, either to local parks or the seaside, and joining in nearby play groups and baby classes.

The ideal nanny would have a genuine passion for working with children and an understanding of the unique challenges and rewarding nature of caring for children like Ada. She is tube fed and needs a few meds throughout the day which of course we can help with for the first few weeks or arrange training for.

Ideally we are looking for someone to work after Ada finishes nursery, as she is only there for 3 hours a day. We can be flexible on scheduling (hours and working days) whilst we figure out a plan that works for us all. We work from home so will always be around to help out.
