I am currently a qualified Primary school teacher in London. I graduated with a Bsc (Hons) in Biochemistry and I have a PGCE in Primary Education.
I love how rewarding it is to see a child smile when they have learnt something new and would love to support the learning of children aged between 4 to 11 year olds with reading and phonics, writing, science and maths. I have excellent knowledge with the statutory primary assessments including the Phonics Screening Checks.
I am a patient and enthusiastic teacher and aim to be an approachable person who can inspire confidence in both parents and students alike. I can be of most benefit to students who require support with: SATs preparation, Phonics, Early Reading help, Reading and Comprehension, Spellings, Punctuation and Grammar as well as Mathematics (Arithmetic and Reasoning).
My Experience
- Over 8 years of primary school classroom experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- KS1 SATs experience
- Teaching Early reading and writing skills to Reception and Year 1
- Phonics Checks Experience
- Year 4 Times Table Assessments
- Assessing learners and identifying how best to support their success.
-Mentored Trainee teachers with their Initial Teacher Training.

My son started with Nimisha 8 weeks ago and he was struggling with phonics. My son has now passed the assessment and is reading fluently. It’s been a massive transformation and I couldn’t recommend Nimisha enough. Very professional my son loves her, thank you!
