My Summary
About Me
I am a qualified nanny with over 9 years professional nannying experience. I have also worked in childcare settings during my studies and afterwards, however my passion is working with children within the home and becoming one of the family.
I love to role play and get messy. I proactively seek age-related groups for the children to attend and find new activities both outside and within the home. I enjoy being outdoors and giving children ample opportunity to do a wide range of hands-on activities. It is highly important to me that I build good strong relationships with all children in my care, so that I can ensure they feel happy, safe, secure, and they have the opportunity to thrive at all times.
I am organised, efficient and understand the importance of flexibility and reliability.
Confident driver with my own car and have a clean licence.
I am looking for a sole-charge role for 4 days per week, however flexible to discuss requirements.
My Experience
Having attained a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Young Children and Young Peoples Workforce, most recently I also have a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Childcare and Education.
I have worked with children in structured classroom environments, smaller information groups, nurseries and one to one.
My professional experience has been predominantly private nannying, working with families to ensure the smooth running of the household and being an additional member of the family.
I am Ofsted registered, DBS (linked to the update service), Paediatric first aid, EYFS training and Safeguarding training.

My duties have included;
Setting up and carry out stimulating and fun activities at home, actively researching and attending age and developmentally appropriate local classes for the 2-year-old, organising half-term activities suitable for both children. As well as arranging regular play dates with local friends.
I continually maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the home and support the family with mealtimes through regular batch cooking. In addition to the childcare provided I walk their family dog.
Within this role the ability to be available for regular overtime has been of key importance to the family and something I have always been happy to offer.
The reason I am leaving this role is due to the mother wanting to take a break from her career, so I am no longer needed on a full-time basis- reference available and more than happy to be given.
