About Me

I grew up in a family of six in Southampton and I have a large extended family, so being around different types of families and children has always been apart of my life. My mother became a childminder when I was eight and I would help out with the kids as I had such a keen interest in children and enjoyed playing with them. During mandatory work experience in year 10 I chose to work at a nursery in which I got the perspective of working with children in a different setting to my life. I love animals, especially cats and dogs and size doesn't bother me as I especially love big fluffy dogs. I enjoy doing regular exercise and I know of lots of interactive exercises that are good for children that I could get them involved in as I would with the children my mother takes care of. I would also be very open and willing to taking children on walks and doing fun activities as I can't sit still myself and dislike being on my phone for too long. I love cooking and exploring new tastes and foods, as a uni student living out I have been experimenting with different ways to keep my food healthy and to avoid getting takeouts regularly. I have a lot of other interests such as reading, writing, art, cleaning, sport and many more.
