About Me
I am a recent graduate from MMU, studying Fine Art. I love looking after children and young people, being a part of their play, safety and comfort. I really enjoy being able to incorporate art and crafts into our play and love to join in with the kids' games. Unfortunately I do not have a driving license but am taking my lessons! I am very happy to do walking school runs or take the bus!
My Experience
I have many years of experience casually babysitting children as young as 4 up to 12. Alongside this I have extensive experience working with children in arts and crafts workshops in places such as the Manchester Museum and Whitworth gallery. My main responsibilities in the past were keeping the children engaged with arts, games, activities and movies as well as bedtime, making sure they're changed, brushing teeth etc. reading stories, going on walks, taking them to shops, helping with colds and sickness, looking after pets and cleaning the house.
My Qualifications
no childcare qualifications but I have a BA (Hons) in Fine art
My Availability
From september 2024 onwards I will be working in Chorlton Park Primary as an after-school-club playworker. I will be working from 3pm-6pm so my availability is currently any time around this. This means I wont be available for school pickups but pretty much any time around that I am. I would ideally be looking for a regular long term role.
