My Requirements

We are a warm and kind family in Marylebone looking for a wonderful nanny to help with our girls who are 3 and 5 (soon to be 4 and 6). The most important thing to us is the right personality match and someone loving, kind, reliable and honest and someone who brings out the best in the girls and has fun with them. We can be flexible on hours and the exact duties/role could be adapted to fit the right person, but predominantly need an afternoon/after-school role (Mon-Thurs). However, help with school/nursery drop offs a couple of times a week would be an added bonus, as would babysitting! We can also include some daytime work one day a week if that works better for you. But all is negotiable for the right person. We are looking for someone to start in Jan 2025 for a minimum of 6 months in the first instance (to early July 2025).

The girls are bright, energetic and love all activities - from outdoor and imaginative play, to building, reading (lots of reading), languages (French would be a huge bonus), music (both girls love music), numbers, sports, and cooking. All are big hits!

We want someone with experience, loves children, is bright and can engage and excite the girls with activities and bring the best out in them. As a family we practice positive discipline and are on the gentle end of the spectrum for parenting. We prefer a 'screen-lite' approach and the girls love being outdoors.

Essential:
- Experience with this age range
- Able to cook nutritious meals for kids from scratch
- Ability to engage both children in age-appropriate activities and an understand of early childhood development
- Non-smoker
-Reliable and honest
- Someone with a flexible personality who takes initiative and is keen to become an integral part of the family
- Usual nanny duties +/- kids housekeeping in a busy household (depending on hours)

Desirable:
- Availability to do extra ad hoc babysitting
- Some limited flexibility in working schedule to accommodate Mum's work rota
- A bonus would be a French speaker and/or someone with a musical background!

One thing to mention is one parent is high-risk for COVID, so during the pandemic we have had to be cautious. We would need someone who was understanding of this, would be prepared to be cautious and take extra precautions depending on the circumstances. COVID vaccination preferred.
