About Me
Single, full time student mom, doing her Masters degree. My son Daniel is 4 and has been diagnosed with ASD, SPD and global developmental delay. He is currently still non verbal. He will start reception from September 2024 at Bedgrove Infant School.
My Requirements
I need childcare for my son to help me manage my school commitments by having Daniel early in the mornings before school (around 7am) and dropping him off at Bedgrove Infant school and after school (where the after school club can't take him) until around 6pm when I should be able to pick him up (unless staying at my place if it's a nanny).
Although this is currently more urgent due to my University commitments, the arrangement would likely be long term, once I'm working at the hospital, after I complete my degree, end of next year.
Ideally, an approved provider so I could claim back some of the costs through my childcare grant from Student Finance that has already been approved and, eventually, Universal Credit, once I'm back into work. But this is not necessarily an issue, it would just be easier for me finacially.
