My name is Dawn, I am 53 years old and I live in west Hull.
I have worked in childcare for over 30 years, working in various settings. I recently gave up my last role as play worker in a very busy afterschool club so I could take care of my young granddaughter.
I like to keep myself busy and I have many hobbies and interests which include art, keeping fit, and walking. I am also a big animal and nature lover so I’m comfortable with pets in the home.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare most of my career, working in various settings, such as nurseries and after school clubs. I have also worked as a nanny and a childminder. Along side this I have been a mum and a grandmother. I had a very hands on role in both of their childhoods.
I gained my Play work qualifications in 2010 and I have qualifications in paediatric first aid, safeguarding and prevent duty training.
