About Me

Hi I’m Emily,

I’m a fully qualified Ofsted Registered Nanny and have been in childcare for the last seven years. I have Insurance, I’m DBS checked, and have First Aid Training. I also have Business Insurance and my own transport. I have first hand experience with newborns, twins and children up to the age of teens. I love singing, having fun and spreading the happiness. I’m fit and I love going on walks with my two cocker spaniels.

I first started my childcare career at a wonderful local nursery where I received my qualification through an apprenticeship. This was perfect for me as I was able to experience ao much through working with a range of different ages of children, and knowledge from helpful and supportive co-workers. I then become a Deputy Room Leader in the baby room after qualifying. I was given an award at City College Norwich and won Apprentice of the year.

After five years working in a nursery setting I decided I wanted to become a nanny and work more closely and one to one with a family. I got very lucky to find my family that I’m currently still with. The family employed me when their beautiful twin boys were three weeks old. Two years on and I’m still loving it.

I completed my Level 2 Hairdressing Qualification at City College Norwich after leaving school. This was my first apprenticeship. Although I decided it wasn’t what I wanted to do full-time, 10 years on and I still use my hairdressing skills to cut lots of lovely children’s hair.
