BSc 2:1 Honours degree from the University of Bath in Mathematics and Computing.
Experienced Mother and Private Tutor in Maths, English Language and Literature up to GCSE. TEFL qualified. 11+ tutor. Experience of tutoring SEN students from KS1 to KS4.
I run my own business Feng Shui Research Center Limited.
Due to the unprecedented impact of the global pandemic on my business I started working as a part-time tutor and was fortunate in quickly building up my tutoring business. Excellent customer service is a philosophy in running my business. I have worked with customers who are into luxury products and services.
My interests include cookery, yoga and reading.
Tutoring only requires the parents to be at home for the duration of the tutoring session.
Babysitting does not include any tutoring at the babysitting hourly rate. If homework support or tutoring is required during babysitting then contact me to discuss the details and agree a rate.
My Experience
I work as a Kids Club assistant for David Lloyd Leisure and for various tutoring agencies as a tutor in Mathematics and English. I have tutored an 11+ exam preparation group, and have led groups for creative writing success in secondary education. I am available to teach 1:1 as a private tutor.
My experience includes:
- working as a learning coach/mentor in a FE college
- working as a teaching assistant in local primary schools
- working for a tutoring company teaching small groups
- tutoring online
- Activity Host at Kidzania, where I worked with school groups.
I also have teaching experience as a mother supporting my child’s learning through primary and secondary school. In 2011, I got involved at my child's primary school as a classroom volunteer. I supported children with one on one reading. This inspired me to work as a tutor. I have first-hand experience of education (early years to KS4) from a parent's perspective.
My formal and informal experience of tutoring children amounts to well over five years.
I particularly enjoy Mathematics and English. I love the idea of applying more of my skills in helping children learn and develop to their potential.
As a private tutor I work with students in person and online. My current students have come via referral. Experience of supporting SEN students up to GCSE, recommend that you read my testimonial letter.

Foon has been working with my daughter and she is an empathetic, patient and just lovely tutor. Incredibly understanding of how my child works and how she processes information. My daughter really enjoys the sessions and has made progress. I would highly recommend A*
