My Requirements

Thanks for reading our profile.

We are Libby (British) and Alex (Australian) seeking a happy, creative nanny to look after our two children, a boy aged 10 and a girl aged 8, after school. Ideally we are looking for someone free on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to pick them up from their local primary school (ten minutes' walk from our house) and look after them until about 6.30pm. We could however offer more hours if this is preferred - up to five days a week plus babysitting and are happy to discuss this. It would be wonderful to find someone who enjoys music as on Mondays and Tuesdays (and Fridays) our children need to attend music lessons in Muswell Hill after school - they are learning piano and cello. We would be especially interested in anyone available to do additional hours during some school holidays (though we are away for several weeks) in case that is also of interest, but it is not an absolute requirement.

We have had French nannies for many years and our children understand a lot of French so a French speaker would be wonderful. We come from a multi-lingual, multi-cultural wider family with family members from the UK, Australia, France, Costa Rica and Turkey so love to encourge curiousity about the world and other languages and cultures.

Our children are well-behaved and independent and love creative activities such as writing stories, making things and art and craft but also love walking and exploring nature outside, so someone who shares these interests would be very welcome. Both have their very own sense of humour that guarantee you will never be bored.
