Hi, I’m Emma, a registered childminder based in Symington, where I live with my husband and our two lovely children, aged 6 and 5.
I’ve been childminding for the past three years, and it’s truly a job I love. I provide a caring, safe, and stimulating home-from-home environment where children can play, learn, and grow at their own pace.
I understand how busy family life can be, so I aim to be as flexible as possible to support the needs of parents and their schedules.

My Experience
I have over three years of experience as a registered childminder. Prior to this, I worked as a support worker with East Ayrshire Council, where I gained valuable experience supporting children and families, something that continues to shape my approach to childcare today.
My Qualifications
NC level 6 Health & Social Care.
Pre registration course.
Pediatric first aid.
Volunteer buddy with south Ayrshire council.
My Availability
Upcoming Availability – August 2025
Due to some of my little ones moving on to nursery, I will have spaces available from August 2025.
I also currently have summer-only spaces available—perfect for families needing extra childcare during the holidays.
