We love being outside and doing a bit of gardening or DIY. A perfect weekend involves good bread, good coffee, a good food and a hike or exploring further afield in Scotland.
We love food and traveling to any corner of the world. We are curious about other cultures, languages, and people. I'm originally from Nebraska (more cows than people!) and I work part-time for a charitable foundation and my husband works in medicine. Now we need extra help to care for our child during the birth of our second child.
My Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and nurturing person with references and relevant checks to provide care in our home for our toddler (2 years old).
We require support while I am in labor (due 12 March) which may be any time of the day/night (hopefully within the window of 28 Feb-14 Mar) and following birth to establish a part-time schedule to care for our toddler as we don't have family close by. I will be at home at the same time (except while in labor).
(If you can only support during delivery let us know - this is the priority for us at this point.)
Our son is a typical toddler - learning and discovering daily. Ideally, you are interested in supporting him to discover the amazing world around him (both indoors and outdoors). Right now he loves playing with balls, vehicle, reading, dancing/listening to music...etc.
Your support would include caring for our son, preparing relevant meals and light housework related to the daily care of our son (tidy up after playing, load/unload dishwasher or clean up after lunch and child's laundry).
We need urgent care for upcoming weekend events leading up to second baby and would like to establish regular relationship for care going forward. If you are interested, please contact us and we will set up a time to discuss the role and your qualifications.
