Hello, my name is Emily! I'm 23 years-old and looking for evening, weekend or school holiday babysitting roles.
I work for a charity who run schools and services for individuals with autism. I also have experience working with children of all primary school ages (4-11). I have an enhanced DBS check and I’m covid vaccinated.
I am a fun, responsible and caring babysitter and love interacting with children! I would be happy to pursue any activities you want for your children such as reading to them, arts/crafts, taking them to the park or helping with homework. I also enjoy cooking dinner. I want to create positive experiences and a safe environment for any child I work with!
My Experience
Since graduating University, I have worked as a year 4 teaching assistant in Kent. I mainly provided one-to-one support for an 8 year-old with autism spectrum disorder but I also covered some whole class lessons.
I loved interacting with the children so I took on extra roles as a breakfast and after-school club assistant every day. Myself and one other adult were responsible for the safety and wellbeing of large groups (up to 60 children, aged 4-11). I really enjoyed thinking of creative activities, either games or arts and crafts, which kept all the children active, happy and engaged.
I have recently moved to London and accepted the role of learning mentor with the charity BeyondAutism. This is an educational service in which I help to nurture a life of independence, confidence and choice for the students.
My Qualifications
I have a BSc in psychology from Cardiff University (first-class honours) and I’m starting a MSc in educational and developmental psychology at UCL in September.
Whilst working at a primary school, I completed many online training courses relating to safeguarding, E-safety and mental wellbeing.
My Availability
During school holidays I am free to work most days and evenings but during term time I work Monday-Friday 8.30-5.30 so I am only free for evening or weekend babysitting outside of the holidays.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I am fairly flexible with fees depending on how far I have to commute and how long the session is!
