About Me

Hi, I am Raquel, nice to meet you!



I am a 29 years old, Spanish girl and I've been living in England for 6 years. I am very confident speaking English. I arrived to England when I was 23 and I started working as an Au-Pair with an English family in Redland, Bristol. After my experience as an Au-Pair, I decided to move on with my professional career so I started my new job in a nursery where I spend 2 years working there. After that, as I was more confident speaking English I decided to start my journey as a Class Teacher. Before moving to England I did private tutor in Spain and also I worked in different schools doing a Clay-Art after school club.
After working as a supply teacher in primary schools and my role as a TA in a primary school now I am working in a Secondary School as a HLTA in the SEND department.

I consider myself as an active and creative person. My favourite hobbies are cooking, dancing and crafting. Also, I am a person who really enjoy looking-after children and supporting them. As a teacher I know each child is unique and each one have their own needs. I am very passionate about optimizing a child's education. While I am working with children, I make sure that they are safe all the time and I cover all their necessities. I always provide fun activities and support children's learning with their homework. I like always to keep children motivated with their learnings to make sure that they are able to reach their goal.
