Hi! My name is Anna and I am currently studying for my undergraduate degree in English Literature at the University of Exeter.
I'm super passionate about my course and absolutely love teaching children!
I specialise in tutoring English Literature, English Language, comprehension, building literacy skills (KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4) and offer my expertise in helping children prepare for their 11 plus and independent schools' entrance examinations.
Having studied and excelled at both Surbiton High School and Tiffin Girls' School, I have garnered an accurate understanding of what it takes to achieve the best in government assessed exams.
I'm excited to continue teaching what I love in the perfect environment so that your child can grow and blossom.
My Experience
I have been an academic tutor for the past 5 years now, offering private classes in 11+, comprehension, English Lit + Lang, and Latin.
My goal is to tailor my teaching style to suit my students' needs and preferences to ensure they are comfortable and confident within the learning environment.
I was also an Activity Leader and Group Leader at a kids camp this Easter, responsible for ages 4-9, in which I had to organise and lead activities in a fun but, most importantly, safe environment.
My Qualifications
A* in A Level English Literature and 9s in GCSE English Literature and English Language.
3 A Levels in English Literature, Latin and Economics
9 GCSES (Grades 7-9)
