About Me
Hi, My name is Helen Lloyd I am a registered full time childminder based In welling Kent 5 minutes walk from train station I have 4 lovely children of age 15 a 12years old, 7years and 1years old.
I made the decision to start up my own business after my youngest son was born, I have researched all aspects of child care including the EYFS and I am qualified in Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare (HBCA)
I have also gained my first aid certificate in pediatric first aid along side an additional course in safeguarding. (Safeguarding of Children)
My true passion is child development and I have enrolled in extra courses to gain a better understanding of this subject .
I run my business from my family home, with a garden with lots of resources where the children in my care do their activities.
The environment I provide will be very much focused on developing the children in line with the EYFS. All schools and Ofsted-registered early years providers must follow the EYFS, including childminders, preschools, nurseries and school reception classes.We do visit local parks, libraries, fun parks and forest schools
My Experience
This was a career change for me and therefore my experience has come from my own 4 young children and the children I have cared for since becoming Ofsted Registered.
I also work as an apprentice for giggling giraffe for 3 years to get an idea how to run and prepare myself to open up my own business
