About Me
I am a 24 year old female, recently moved to SE to start a new role with the Civil Service. Coming from a big family, I have grown up around young cousins, nieces and nephews, I understand the importance of promoting a positive and thriving environment. In my spare time, I enjoy exercise, wider reading and socialising.
My Experience
Before starting in my new role with the Civil Service, I was an inclusive mentor/teaching assistant in a large comprehensive Catholic secondary school in Brighton and Hove. I was responsible for supporting a wide range of children (ages 11-17) with both/or behavioural and SEN needs. This role has not only shown my ability to understand children's educational and emotional needs, but my capability to use this to build effective and successful working relationships with each student, so a tailored and diverse approach is always adopted. I am keen to continue my passion for supporting and working with young people in my spare time. From previous roles with young people, I am acutely aware of safeguarding protocols and in turn am DBS checked. With my experience in adopting and utilising techniques to promote learning and development, I am able to support children in studies/ work.
My Qualifications
I hold a DBS from three previous employers.
I have relevant CPD in Learning and Development.
