About Me
36 year old Single mum of two, ages 11 & 8 and live in the bury area. I currently Work in children’s residential and have 2 years experience in challenging behaviour. I enjoy music and nice walks with my dog. I love children and animals and I have a lot of compassion, patience, empathy and common sense! I have a full uk driving licence which I have held for almost 17 years. I believe myself to be a very caring and nurturing person and I really enjoy making someone’s day more positive. I also have a full DBS check and I am on the update service. I have various certificates for courses I have completed through my employment available on request also.
My Experience
I have been a mum for 11 years now and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I enjoy being around babies and children as they bring so much joy into everything! I have worked in a school environment, received qualifications from doing so (level3 diploma for teaching and assisting in the classroom) and raised my two beautiful babies by myself. I work in children’s residential and have been doing this for 2 years. I have all training certification required for looking after children. I have looked after children from the ages of 4 months old- 17 years excluding my own 2 children.
My Qualifications
I have a level 2 and level 3 diploma in assisting teaching which I did in 2018/2019. I am currently working on a level 3 diploma in residential children’s care. I Have worked in a primary school for two years also with children aged between 5-9. I’m also a mother myself and understanding the most precious thing in the world to a mother is her children. I have first aid training also.
I have worked in child residential for the last 2 years supporting children who are in the care system. This involves looking after children with challenging behaviour.
My Availability
I am looking for baby sitting jobs in bury and surrounding areas. I have experience with children and childcare is something I believe I thrive in. I have free time in the evenings and through the week so I would like to be able to baby sit during that free time. I think I would be suited to families who would just like that little break during the week or on a evening, maybe for date night or an event. Maybe just some very well needed rest! I have children myself and do the school runs as I am a single mum. I will work with families to give specific times I’m available and discuss when I am needed.
