I began working as a babysitter in 2016 to earn extra money on the side while in college. I have looked after children of all ages, including newborns I love children and can entertain every age group - I especially enjoy coming up with new craft ideas to try out with the children. I am a very bubbly and patient person.
I am outgoing, friendly, trustworthy and reliable and have references and testimonials from previous parents. I also am a french speaker!
I currently do have a DBS that is on the update service.
My Experience
In my previous role I was a childminders assistant taking care of Children from the ages 0-4. My duties included planning and supervising fun and educational activities, feeding and changing babies, communicating with staff and parents, ensuring the safety of children, managing a daily schedule that includes activities, toilet breaks, lunch and rest time.
I also worked as a Support Worker for young people and adults with special needs.

She was prepared to take care of our child, using the bottles we provided to feed him according to our instructions. Witnessing her attentiveness to his nutritional needs brought us immense peace of mind.
Upon our return, we were overjoyed to find our son happy and well-cared for. Abbie had attended to his every need, ensuring he was content and ready to greet us. The level of care and dedication she displayed was truly remarkable, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Abbie came a few times to babysit our 2.5 yo for the full day and it was love at first sight. Abbie is professional and reliable and really enjoys her work. She's full of positive energy and creativity and she fills up the day with learning and fun activities. She's also very kind and mindful. We totally trust her and can't wait to book her in for an evening slot too.

Abbie’s absolutely lovely with the way she managed my very very demanding toddlers. She’s patient and calm and very nicely planned their day with activities which I think was brilliant! From trips to the park, libraries, baking together and even finding things in the house that can be reused to do craft. Very neatly done.
Would definitely recommend Abbie any day 😊
