About Me
I am a degree educated nanny born in London. My experience includes working with new borns up until 10 years old. I have worked in several areas as a nanny throughout the years including Notting Hill, Canary Wharf, Islington, Greenwich, Blackheath, Dulwich. I have 14 years experience with children. I have done nannying, babysitting and I have also worked in a nursery when I first began my career with children. My favourite thing about being a nanny is watching the children I look after reach milestones. My Experience
Providing a safe environment for children and building bonds with children and families so both children and families can feel relaxed and at ease. I can provide recommendations for activities to attend with the children which they would also learn from as I have experience attending many different activities in all different London boroughs.
I have excellent first aid skills and know how to handle any emergency with children as I keep up to date with first aid. Although the first aid course is mandatory every 3 years, I refresh my skills online constantly to ensure I keep up to date with this.
I am proactive and like to plan the day for children. I like to keep parents well informed throughout the day whilst being a nanny. I bring daily activity logging sheets where I keep a daily log including nap times, any issues, food, if anything has run out within the house etc. I also bring incident record forms.
I also have experience as a nanny/PA and nanny/ housekeeper managing the household and managing children’s diary’s including dentist and doctor appointments, also booking travel for families.
My Qualifications
-First aid trained and I constantly refresh my skills online
-DBS checked and on the updated DBS service which I can provide the details for you to check if needed.
-References (happy to provide these)
-Outstanding Ofsted Certificate as I was interviewed by Ofsted in the nursery I worked in and they were impressed.
