Hey , I’m Greta 25 years old . I’ve been living in the UK for the past 3 years . I’m a university student ( Business Management - Greece ) currently on a gap .
My Experience
I’ve got quite a wide experience in childcare. I started looking after children at the age of 14 when my sister was born . Since then I’ve been doing mainly part time babysitting/nannying to numerous kids of different ages . I’ve also been an Au pair 3 times in Ireland, UK and Spain . In Ireland I was taking care of a 9year old girl , a newborn baby and mainly a 12 month old boy for 1 year(2019/2020) . In Spain I was a summertime Au pair / sitter watching over a 5 year old girl and her 14 year old sister (2020) . And finally in the UK I have been the au pair/nanny of two girls age 3&8. All of those families have been the best people I could ever imagine living with . (References available)
Whilst gaining all of that valuable experience, I got the chance to learn how to actively and effectively care for infants, toddlers and young kids without necessarily studying it .
Due to dealing with different ages I have been able to learn what each one of the individuals I look after need . Generally engaging with each child and giving them attention and time is my primary responsibility. Other additional duties depending on age mainly include organising/supervising indoor and outdoor activities which can help in their physical and mental development (playing, reading books , walking , cycling, singing etc ) , assisting with homework, meal preparation, bathing , getting them ready for naps/bedtime and generally maintain their daily routine.

•Paediatric first aid completed (I was not provided a certificate but I’m willing to get one if required) .
•Driver with own car.
•NOT registered with OFSTED yet so can’t provide funded childcare.
•Offer school/clubs/activity runs .
My Qualifications
My studies were not related to children however I’ve attended two seminars where we were informed about the kids psychology and how it can be affected and treated in case I has been damaged . The other one was related to bullying and how we should act when we detect it among young kids .I can speak English , Greek , Albanian and I partially speak &understand Italian .

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (net)
The rates might differ( 13£- 17£) depending on the location of the family , number&age of the kids , requirements etc. Depending on the hours of childcare required I’m happy to negotiate the fees . Please keep in mind that the LEGAL NLW stands at £11.44/h.

I have had Greta take care of my little girl 3 different times and I had no issues at all each time. She kept the environment neat, followed instructions and communicated well with me throughout the period. I liked that she also engaged her through play activities and not only with the television.

Greta has been great with my twin boys. She is punctual, friendly, energetic and trustworthy. She interacted well with the twins and was caring towards them. I was very nervous about letting somebody else look after my babies but Greta put my mind at ease with her easy going and pleasant nature

Greta was a nanny to our 6 month old child before she started nursery at 10 months. Greta is engaging and very reliable, she was never late. Greta is very comfortable with young babies and our daughter was always very excited and happy to see Greta.

Greta helped us babysitting my children in Birmingham during one week. My children did not speak English properly and she made an effort to understand my children and that they had fun. She is reliable, we'll ask again if we need a babysitter.

Greta looked after my 8 month old on several occasions. She was amazing, bonding really well with him, entertaining him and singing to him. This was the first time I have left him with anyone and I was quite nervous, but Greta was brilliant. She even took him out for walks in his pushchair. I have no hesitation in recommending Greta.

I will highly recommend Greta. She’s professional yet flexible. She took care of my 6week old baby. She has good communication skills, is punctual, neat and was open to a guide on how I wanted my baby to be cared for. I also heard her sing happily to my baby. She’s a lovely nanny!

Greta babysat our 4-5 month old after I started working full time. She is incredibly responsible, punctual, and confident in her role. She was very attentive to my baby’s developmental needs and took excellent care of her. She was able to prepare and administer bottles of expressed milk. She was never late and had excellent communication skills both in person and over text message. We were very lucky to have her working for us. I highly recommend her without reservation.
