About Me
I am a level 4 qualified nursery practitioner who has worked in childcare for 10 years. I am first aid trained and have experience of working with children 0-8. I also have a wealth of experience working with EAL and SEN children, having both worked abroad and being a qualified SENco within Early Years as well as working within a specialist provision supporting young people. I have a passion for speech and language and holistic care.
I genuinely love childcare and creating meaningful activities for children as well as creating calm and soothing environments for evening care.
My Experience
I have 10 years experience in childcare. During that time I have worked extensively with children with EAL, SEN or access needs and children with trauma. I have worked with a range of ages, more often than not with children aged 0-5 but also with children and young people up to 18. I have experience with multiples and newborns.
My Qualifications
I am level 4 qualified holding a full and relevant qualification as listed by the Department of Education. I am also First Aid trained and have specific training in SEN, behaviour management, attachment and holistic, gentle care. I have Makaton training as well as Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Food Allergy awareness.
My Availability
I am available evenings and weekends.
