My Summary
About Me
Hello families!
My name is Stanley, I am 25 years old from Guildford, Surrey, looking for a Part Time live out Nannying job, preferably in South London. I am currently working at a school as an SEN TA, doing 1 to 1 with a 10 year old boy in Lewisham. I am available from 3:30pm after school Monday to Friday.
I am friendly and responsible individual who is energetic, fun, and easy going but also professional and disciplined when appropriate. Working with children comes naturally to me as I begun work experience at 15 in a nursery and have worked in and out of once since. My priorities are the safety and happiness of the children I look after every day to ensure they are nurtured and taught the skills needed for them to grow as a person.
My family business has always been in childcare [Starfish Nursery] and has been an integral part of my life and upbringing. Of fifteen staff, I am the only male worker in my nursery and truly believe that more men should work in childcare and I would love to lead as an example. My experience at the nursery has made me realise the career I want to peruse will always be in childcare.
I come from a big family with two younger brothers, who have severe autism and have always looked after and cared for them. They have taught me to be patient and given me a new perspective on life, through them I have become more passionate to take care of children.
The relationships I have built with the kids and their parents at the nursery reassures me that I am good at my job and makes me feel happy and accomplished that the parents feel as though they can rely on me to care for kids. I want to work as a nanny because I’m looking for a change of job, where I can work for a lovely, accepting family. Giving them the confidence that their needs will be met with my help.
