About Me

My early years setting in my home has a dedicated play room set up with activities and resources to encourage children to explore and investigate. I also have a well resources, secure and inviting outside space which is used all your round.

Little Explorer's provides a homely and loving environment, so important in the early years to enable the children to feel safe, secure and happy and more likely to engage to reach their very best potential.

Everyday will consist of reading, story times, singing, rhyme time and circle activities, as well as a routines around morning arrival, lunch time and napping. But with lots of time to slow down and explore the world around them, inside and outside...

We attend different plays groups most, from physical fun to more traditional stay and play days as well as woodland walks with forest school activities, farm and zoo visits, local parks, libraries and seasonal events.

I have a firm grasp of the 7 areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and endeavour to plan learning experience that meet each child where they are at and help them to move forward through the mile Stones toward the Earlyy Learning Goals set.

I have worked with children, families and schools for 20+ years. I look forward to working with little ones on a smaller ratio enabling me to really get to know their individual needs and help them flourish.
Watching early years children's excitement and enthusiasm as they discover the world around them and what they can achieve is my absolute passion! How lucky I am to do it every day.
