10/10 Childminder, wish we didn’t move so far

Marta was absolutely amazing with our son Lucas who she looked after from the ages of 8 months until 14 months. It’s always daunting when you have to start childcare off for your little one as first time parents but with Marta, my worries quickly disappeared.

She is really kind, patient and easy going - with Lucas, who took a while to warm to people, and had serious separation anxiety, ended up loving her so much and thanks to her, he came out of his shell and grew so confident.

There were so many times when Marta would be flexible for us, giving us extra time when we needed it and she never failed to keep us up to date all day when she was with Lucas, sending details on how long he slept, what he ate and lots of pictures which reassured us even more.

She has a great play space at home, a garden, and takes the babies out for library trips, parks, soft play etc.

I wish when we moved we didn’t have to go so far from Marta as Lucas loved her so much! We miss you so much Marta and thank you for everything!

Amazing childminder, highly recommend

Marta is an amazing childminder, you can tell she really cares for the children she looks after. She looked after our daughter, Lily, from around 8 months old and even at such a young age I could tell that Lily felt comfortable with Marta and loved being in her company.

Her home is clean and inviting and fully equipped with lots of toys and activities for children of all ages. Marta takes the children out to a different activity everyday, including softplays, libraries, farms, parks, picnics with other childminders / children which all help the childs development and socialising skills.

We really valued the daily updates and photos via Whatsapp from Marta, detailing Lily's day, including what she had ate, naps etc.

We were really sad when we had to move which meant Marta's setting was too far away for us to travel to everyday, and if it wasn't for moving we would still definitely be using Marta. Thank you for looking after Lily so well :) x

A truly great child-focused Childminder & saint

I was fearful when searching for emergency childminder as my son had not adapted well to nursery. We had granny support following adverse nursery experience but were in 2 month sticky situation when both took ill. My under 2 year old son embraced Marta like trusted family in the midst of regression & separation anxiety. Her 2-4 child ratio ensures she has First time parenting ample time to tune into my sons needs and help him develop with play at home and at a variety of softplay centres. I wish we had tried childminding with her much sooner as no doubt my son would have happily thrived in her daycare with little worry for me about various nursery bugs. She keeps a clean and hygienic home and play area and is versatile with accomodating parents food preferences which was not the case with our initial nursery experience. I would have my son stay with her longer if we were not soon moving north. Many many thanks to the lovely Marta for your great care of our son .

Great Childminder

Marta has been absolutely fantastic as a childminder for our three year old twins. She is really engaged and enthusiastic and takes really great care of them. Marta plans a range of enjoyable activities for them, such as trips out (including some with other children so that they can socialise) and she also organises a variety of different craft and play activities within the home. My twins love going there, in fact they like it so much that they've even asked to go on a Saturday morning before now.

Her house is also very well set up, with a great area for the children to play in well stocked with toys and craft materials. I would definitely recommend Marta to other parents, we were very lucky to find her.
