About Me
Hello, I’m Lou and my childminding business is Isajess Childcare.
I have previously worked as a nanny, a registered general nurse with specialist adult nursing experience, and more recently as a preschool practitioner. These roles, alongside my being a mum to 2 children now aged 10 and 11, give me what I hope to be a great set of skills to create a successful setting.
I have a warm, loving home from home setting, and while it is fully equipped to encourage early learning goals, we will definitely be having plenty of fun!
I’ve a good sized garden and space to play safely, and will be out and about each day taking advantage of our lovely local parks and woodland, play groups, farms, the zoo and meeting children with fellow childminders.
I want to encourage children to have a healthy body and mind and all our activities will reflect this.
My day rate will be £50. I can be very flexible within the hours of 7:30am-5pm.
I can also be available for babysitting in your home on a Friday or Saturday evening between 7pm and 12am, for £10/hour.

Our son has been with Lou since April 2023. Lou was extremely flexible with his settling in, and we have been so happy with the care he receives.
The home is clean, warm and inviting. The toys are laid out in a way to interest the children, and there's a huge variety to keep them entertained.
Lou is friendly, fun and affectionate which has really suited our child. It's clear that she pays attention to his likes/dislikes, and I think he settled in so quickly because of this.
Lou sends us updates through the day if needed, and towards the end of the day there's always photos and a good summary of what they've been up to and how he has been. It's reassuring to see a clearly thought out approach to his care & development which seems evidence based. It feels like he is in safe hands and we really couldn't be happier
