About Me

My name is Jennie, I live with my husband Marc and our 3 children Leo (7), Reuben (4), and Alice (2).

I have always had a desire to help people. From the age of 11, I volunteered for St John ambulance up until I was 23. I achieved many awards, including one where I was invited to Buckingham palace to meet Princess Anne. As I got older, I helped run county camping trips for cadets and young carers across Cheshire and the cadet group in Macclesfield.

At 18, I worked in a care home for the elderly. I then went on to work as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities after completing my NVQ levels 2 and 3 in health and social care. In 2018 until 2021, I worked as a TA at the Seashell Trust. I have always been passionate about helping others and being the best that I can.

I do school drop-offs and pick-ups for Vernon park primary school. I will 'be out for drop-offs and pick-ups' between 8.20am and 9.30 am and then 2.50pm and 3.45pm

I volunteer for scouts every Tuesday evening as a parent helper for the squirrel scouts (aged 4-6).

I have newly been appointed ‘safeguarding officer’ for our family church St Albans church in Offerton. This is also a voluntary position.

My Experience

I have good experience supporting children with speech and language difficulties, my 2 eldest have support from Speech and language therapies. I have good knowledge of supporting people with allergies as one of my children has multiple food intolerance's.

I have completed ‘Introduction to childminding in 2021’.

I have completed Makaton level 1 and 2. I am due on a level 3 course in November.

I have completed paediatric first aid in March 2023.

I have completed all safeguarding training
