Hi, my name is Fatima. I live in Lower Earley, and I am a mother of 2. My girl is 19 years old and is at university and a boy 15 years old. I understand how a parent feels when they are looking for an honest and genuine child minder as I have been in the same situation myself and that is when I decided to take up childmining as a profession to help all the parents like myself.
I was last inspected on the 21st February 2024 and was given a good in all areas, which I am pleased with.
I currently have full/ part-time vacancies for anyone who is looking for a fun-loving and caring environment.
Full-on experience looking after twins, toddlers, and babies.
I have a wide variety of toys for indoor and outdoor play and organize weekly activities to support each child's development skills. I have access to plenty of play groups and parks, all at walking distance. I also have an assistant to help me with the kids.
I am aware of EYFS requirements, and I am confident that along with play and homely atmosphere, your child will not miss out on early learning. I will be providing a record book for each child, letting the parent know what their child is doing and what they are capable of doing. As I can understand, being a parent one does not want the child to miss out on the early years of learning in a very friendly environment.
Your child/children will always be happy and full of smiles after being looked after by myself and my Assistant whon is my mother in law She is very famoys with all the chdren I have cared for she gives them lots ofnlove like a grandma most of them call her grandma. She is very good at story time and rhyme time. Children will get a lot of attention here with loads loads of hugs and cuddles.
My Experience
I was an Assisrsnt to Financial controller in London 16 years ago. When we moved to Lower Earley, I took a break and had my son, and now it has been years I have been looking after kids from the age of 6 months to 11 years old. I currently have a full-time and part-time vacancy for the early years.
References can be provided on request from the parent.
My Qualifications
I have a degree and I am also part qualified Accountant.

My Availability
My hours are between 7:30 am till 6pm, I take all year round, term time as well as school holidays cover and shift. Also do suitable flexible hours as per parents request.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
£6 per hour for full time, which is at least 8 hrs a day. £7 per hour for part-time and out of funding hours, min 4 hrs weekend rates are different and as per requirement.

Fatima is amazing, my 2 years old son is happy to go every morning and I feel comfortable leaving him with her.
She is very friendly and I like that she cuddles and kiss my son to comfort him like a mum would do.
She keeps me updated during the day with photos and progresses and she is also flexible when I need it.
If my son has problems eating or sleeping she is very patient helping him and I really feel like she is part of the family.
I could not recommend her enough!
Overall
We have 3 year old twins that have been with Fatima for some time now and they absolutely adore her. Going back to work was not easy for me, however Fatima made me feel at ease from the minute that I met her that my children would be safe and protected. Fatima has such a great way with the kids, they love and respect her. Her motherly, nurturing nature shines through. She shows patience and guidance with the kids and her support to me as a working mom is endearing. I know that I can always count on her and she will do everything in her power to always be there for the kids, as well as for me and my husband, she is very accomodating and willing to help. Fatima keeps the kids constantly entertained with indoor and outdoor activities and keeps me updated on their progess. Fatima can take full credit for potting training the twins when they were two, a big joy for me :). I was very happy to say goodbye to nappies! Fatima is an exceptional Childminder that I highly recommend. If you meet Fatima you will love her! I could not have chosen a better Childminder to care for my children!! We are very blessed to have Fatima as part of our lives.

Overall
For my daughter it is home away from home! Fatimah takes care with passion and is very caring towards the kids. She genuinely takes pain to ensure that the kids are well and happy.
My daughter is a fussy eater, but Fatimah works hard to make sure she eats well, feeding her the best home made food. She has learnt a great deal from colours to numbers.She is happy when we drop her off in the morning which gives us a huge relief!! I can't thank her enough and really feel lucky to have met her.

Since i went back to work this July after giving birth in January. I found Fatima through the wonderful reviews, because it was difficult for me to find a place for my 2 children. I went to visit her, really friendly ,smiling person.
As soon i meet her, i was sure that she is going to be the one ,who is going to look after my children.
She is like a second Mum to my 7 months old baby boy and my daughter 34 months ole feels great there,always tell me at home that i love Fatima.
Even when we picked the children always smiling,even it is not a easy job.
I can just say well done to you. I will recommend her definitely to every .

Prior to motherhood, I was pretty sceptical of leaving children with childminders - however Fatema has completely reversed my opinion and my experience of Fatema's childminding service is excellent.
I returned to work when my baby was just 4 months old and was very nervous and emotional about using childcare. I was very impressed after speaking to Fatema face to face, seeing her home and environment, references and disucssing her pedagocial approach to early years education. Her views chimed with mine and my husband and we were assured that our daughter was in safe hands. My daughter is now approaching 10 months and I have seen a real substantial change in her personality and cognitive/physical development. She has such a good bond with Fatema and I have absolute peace of mind in leaving her in Fatema's capable hands. My child has a good routine of eating/sleeping/playing and comes home happy and relaxed. She eats fresh home made food and the learning environment has had a positive impact on my duaghter's speech development too.
It has been refreshing to find a childminder with such an aptitude for child centred care and for whom it is a vocation - not a money making exercise.
