My Summary

My Experience

I have been a classroom teacher or over 12 years in the primary setting. Eleven of those years have been in the USA before I moved to the UK and was hired as a TA in KS1 and KS2 and eventually as a primary teacher in KS2. In addition to those 12 years in a classroom, I spent an additional 5 as a TA or Supply Teacher across all KS1, KS2 and KS3 levels. My work experience has given me the benefit of working with many different children at many different levels of learning - I have a lot of experience to draw from to make sure your child reaches their potential.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc in Elementary Education and English from the US (Keene State College, 2005-2009) and a MSc in Educational Technology from the US (Central Connecticut State University, 20014 - 2016).I hold QTS since 2017. I have been in a classroom since 2009 in different capacities, but have run my own primary classroom since 2010 both in the US and UK. I have worked in KS1, KS2 and KS3 - but taught in my own classroom in KS1 and KS2 as I am certified in Primary.

My Availability

Weekends - Saturday days/evenings; Sunday days (sans Tuesdays)
If needed: Weekdays - Evenings during school days; Days/Evenings during off-school days

My Fees

• Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

I offer my first lesson for free - at no pressure - to get to know your child and their specific needs; all lessons will be based upon the tutee and their needs. I will be in contact with parents and careers as needed and as we progress and can also be in contact with the child's teacher if it is requested.
My fees after the initial visit are £30/hour.
