I have experience in both home and school settings, and I’m the kind of person who always brings patience, creativity, and snacks (for the kids… but also maybe for me). Whether it’s crafts, homework help, or navigating the drama of “who had the toy first,” I’m there with a calm head and a sense of humour.
I’ve worked with children of all ages, including those with additional needs, and I aim to create a space where they feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves (even if that means dressing up as a dinosaur mid-lunch). I’m also happy to help with school runs, bedtime routines, or light household tasks — and I can read The Gruffalo with Oscar-worthy enthusiasm.
My Experience
I have hands-on experience working with children in both home and school environments, including early years and primary ages. I’ve supported families with everything from after-school care to full days during holidays.
My background includes working in education and childcare, including supporting children with additional needs (SEMH and SEND), helping with learning activities, creative play, and emotional support. I’m confident with routines, homework, messy play, and even the occasional glitter emergency.
Whether it’s helping toddlers wind down for nap time or keeping older kids entertained (and screen time reasonable!), I’m adaptable, proactive and always looking for ways to help children feel safe, supported and happy.
