My Summary
Ofsted Registered Childcare Provider With 17 Years Of Experience.
About Me
I am a qualified and experienced Childcare Provider at Little Steps Childcare and Education with nearly 15 years of childcare experience. I am a member of PACEY and fully insured. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc Hons), Level 3 Childcare Home Practitioners qualification, Children & Young People’s Workforce (CYPOP5) Level 2 with Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Children Level 2 qualification and many more (Please see under My Qualifications section below).
Our Childcare and Education setting/nursery based at our home is called Little Steps Childcare and Education.
At our home, we want your precious little child (‘my children’ as I call them) to feel it is their ‘Home away from Home’ and grow up as a part a family. While their journey continues, we are passionate and enthusiastic about providing an outstanding level of one to one care and education for them.
Our home is quiet spacious with a stimulating environment. We have no pets at the moment and none of us are smokers. There are two spacious ‘play while you learn’ nursery areas with many activities, dedicated dining area for the children and also a good size garden. We have many musical instruments including a Piano, Guitars, Saxophone, and Cello.
We help them develop in number of key learning areas. They will learn not only to love, respect, share and communicate, explore and express, but also to build self confidence, be focused, disciplined, pay attention, listen, concentrate, love the nature, enjoy music & arts, and at the same time play and have fun.
We organise free workshops for our children such as Music, Dancing, Creative Arts, Games/activities, Phonics, Mathematics, Writing, Reading which help their sensory and motor development.
With the parents’ permission, we get the children involved in gardening, going to children's parks, walking to local shops, visiting the library and Harrow Museum, etc. such that they will understand and mix with the outside world.
A well-balanced healthy diet is extremely important to the child’s physical and mental growth. We cook and provide freshly made vegie and non-vegie food everyday with fruits, home-made juices, milk, yogurt and snacks.
We have an online portal where the parents receive daily updates and reports on their child’s progress and activities with photos.
I am a mother to a wonderful son who is now 17 years old and goes to Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, he secured A10* in GCSE examination 2023, captain of the first XV 15 Rugby team, trains with London Irish (Middlesex) and Saracens (Hertfordshire) Rugby Clubs, and plays for the school Cricket and Waterpolo teams. He also holds ABRSM Music Performance Diploma in Piano, currently preparing for Grade 8 qualification in Saxophone and have completed Grade 8 in Speech & Drama with Trinity college London.
Before becoming a childminder, I worked at Watford General Hospital and St Mark’s Hospital at Northwick Park NHS in Harrow. My husband who used work for London Ambulance services is also very supportive towards our Childcare setting, and he plays many musical instruments and leads the Choir at the local Church.
In order to fulfil our passion in working with children and having our own childcare and education centre, I became a qualified Childcare Provider.
Above all, your child will receive personal one to one care, love and attention he or she needs.

My twins have been going since they were 7 months and love going there. They have really developed since they have been there which is really good to see.
Esther is so amazing with the twins. They are always happy when they go and come back. She is so caring with the twins. She makes it so homely for the kids.
I would recommend her to any parent.

My daughter has had a wonderful time at Little Steps the past year. Little Steps is the best childcare place I have come across, everyday that my daughter comes home she tells me about all the wonderful things she has done such as baking, art, music and playing in the garden. She has also learnt so much since being with Little Steps academically aswell as good manners, love and care, it is clear how much the staff provide excellent care. There is also a consistency of the same staff which provides stability for the children.
Communication is very effective and photos are also sent regularly.
I would definitely recommend Little Steps, having used a few providers in over many years, the care that Little Steps provides is definitely top tier.

Little Steps childminder is the best choice I have made for my son.
Esther is one of the most sweet, attentive and warm person I ever met in my life and I’m very lucky I found her. She’s made for this job. She’s helping a lot my son with his speech delay. Also with their multiple activities he’s very happy to spend the time there. The food they prepare is amazing, the place itself is very clean and stimulating for the kids.
My son loves Esther and dropping him off at hers every day and see him happy just when he sees her makes me feel good and sure that he’s safe there.
I would give 10000 stars if I could.

I would highly recommend Esther as a child minder any day! As new and first time parents, we were very cautious and found it difficult to trust. But sending our son to Esther has literally been life changing! She is angel to say the least. She treats our son like she would her own. In the five months at hers, our son has learnt so much. He is polite, well behaved and picking up things at a pace we did not expect. Our first choice initially was sending him to a bigger setting like a nursery, but after sending him to Esther, our view has completely changed and she is now our first choice of day care. A home away from home. Our son wasn’t feeding very well at home, but Esther made him so comfortable and with routine, he feeds so well at hers. Esther puts her heart and soul into little steps childcare. She has made it into such a loving, fun and inspiring environment for our son and others to grow and learn at their best.

My daughter has been attending childcare sessions with Esther since January 2023 and has recently stopped as she is due to start school in September.
Esther, her husband and her team have been quite simply AMAZING! My daughter has flourished under their care and she loved going to 'Aunty Esther's!' My daughter took part in fun and stimulating daily activities including reading, phonics, playing in the garden, role play, arts and crafts, music sessions, themed parties and much more. I was always happy to leave my daughter in Esther's care as I knew she was well cared for and in a happy environment.
I can't rate Esther's services highly enough! Thank you.
