About Me
I am Stefy, Family Shapes Childminder.
I have a large setting (mini nursery) in Bletchley.
I open at 7 am, close at 6:30 pm Monday to Friday working with 2 assistants.
I do offer different activities for different ages and areas of learning:

?I do offer childcare wraparound.

Children at Family Shapes learn how to become independent (potty training, brushing their teeth, dressing/undressing, wearing shoes or welly-boots... They discover they favourite subject (Math , English, Music, Science...)
My curriculum is around the seasons, festivals, talking about other cultures and nature and more.
To enrich their learning, children attend:
????trips in the play groups where they have to interact socially with other children;
?? walking in the woods where they can discover the nature and the world around;
?? shops where they can learn how to choose goods, respect queues, meet new people;
?????? Visit to our local Nursing home;
? post office;
? Parks;

I do accept funding, vouchers, tax free childcare.

Every day I drop off /collect from The Premier Academy (primary school), Bishop P. Catholic School, Newton Leys Primary, Water Hall Primary School, Drayton Primary School, Montessori Pre-school Bletchley.
Meals
Meals are prepared freshly, ingredients used are healthy and nutritional, hot meals are the best healthy food for children in their very early step of life, however cold meals are also available and offered.
International cuisine is offered to give children the opportunity to discover new flavours from other countries.

My journey in childcare has been a rewarding and enriching experience, shaped by a series of diverse roles and responsibilities over the years. Growing up in a large family, I was often entrusted with the care of my younger siblings and cousins. These early years taught me the basics of nurturing, patience, and responsibility. From changing nappies to soothing a crying baby, I learned the fundamental aspects of infant care. These experiences laid the foundation for my interest in childcare and helped me develop a strong sense of empathy and attentiveness. Throughout my childcare journey, I have developed a wide range of skills and learned valuable lessons:
Patience and Empathy: Understanding that each child is unique and requires a different approach has made me more patient and empathetic.
Communication: Effective communication with both children and parents is crucial. I have learned to listen actively and express myself clearly.
Problem-Solving: Handling unexpected situations, from minor conflicts between children to more serious emergencies, has honed my problem-solving abilities.
Creativity: Planning engaging activities that are both educational and fun has nurtured my creativity and resourcefulness.
Time Management: Balancing multiple responsibilities and managing the schedules of different children have improved my time management skills.

According to availability it will suit Monday to Friday, weekends, emergency call, holidays, half term, early morning from 6 am, late evening until 7 pm Monday to Wednesday, Thursdays 7:30 pm up to 9 pm or more on Fridays.

Stefy supported us with emergency childcare for 3 days during Christmas holidays. She is a lovely and trustworthy person. She had different activities planned for the children every day and a variety of healthy meals. My son doesn’t go easily with new people but every time I picked him up I could see he was very happy and enjoyed spending time with other children and Stefy. She gave me very detailed feedback at the end of the day and in the app she posted really detailed notes of my son’s day with her.

Both of my children enjoyed time with Stefy and miss her! Lovely setting, loads of activities for children everyday, fantastic food provided, I recommend for anyone looking for childcare. Stefy herself is very professional and friendly, will definitely use again in the future 😊😊😊

Stefy is a huge help for us! We needed someone who drop off my daughter to nursery every morning. My Little one is very happy to go to spend time with Stefy and the other kids.
Stefy is very chatty and kind, she does her best to accommodate all of our request, we are really happy with her service.Highly recommended!

The best childcare so far we have.I’m working a long hours and my daughter enjoying the time with Stefy.Everyday is full of playing games and activities for kids.My daughter always comes home happy and with a full belly☺️🤗
