Hello! My name is Molly and I am a 21-year-old student currently completing my undergraduate degree at Durham University. I am eager to offer my services as a full or part-time nanny/babysitter throughout the Summer holidays (until Oct 2024) while I am back home.
I believe that every child is unique and deserves a caring, safe, and stimulating environment to grow and learn, and I am enthusiastic about giving my time to work and care for children. In my spare time, you'll often catch me playing sports, devouring a good book in a day, or planning the next fun day trip with my friends. Whether I'm on the field, lost in a novel, or mapping out our next adventure, I bring the same energy and enthusiasm to everything I do!
My Experience
-Supported teaching staff in year 6 and 7 English, French, and Latin lessons, tutored students in groups and one-on-one settings and ran PE sessions for boys and girls at Stoneygate School on multiple occasions
-Worked abroad at a summer beach club in France for two weeks with children aged 3-15 from Spain, France, Italy, England, and Russia.
-Camp leader in several school summer camps for children aged 3-10
My volunteer experiences are just as diverse: I have rebuilt and refurbished schools in Kenya, developed educational resources, and taught first aid to all year groups in a Kenyan school.
Currently, I am a volunteer with NEPACS, providing mentorship and support to a young person in the care system. I am also about to start my next volunteering opportunity at Gartree Prison, working in the visitor's centre with families
My Qualifications
I have received my First Aid Certification and have completed Safeguarding and Child Protection Training on two separate occasions for my volunteering. I have had two DBS checks within the last year, again, for my volunteer positions.
My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday from early mornings before school until after school into the early evenings. My weekend availability is flexible and we can discuss weekend times on a week-to-week basis to accommodate your needs.
