About Me
My name is Taila, i’m 20 years old and I have worked in childcare for 4+ years. I have a level 3 in early years, childcare and education and currently working towards my Degree in primary school teaching. I am hard working, friendly, pro-active and eager to support children with their development and learning.
I am currently available for babysitting until I graduate in June 2025 and will then be looking for a more full time position due to taking a gap year (September 2025-2026) for the odd weeks travelling.
My Experience
I have over 3 years experience working in a day nursery (8am to 6pm) with ages 6 months to 5 years. I have experience with Heath and care routines such as toilet training, nappy changes, meal times and bed times. I also have experience in indoor and outdoor environments and creating enabling environments for play and learning.
I also have 2+ years experience in placement in a primary school with children ages 5-11 years. This involved teaching small groups and whole class lessons independently, planning lessons and responses and managing classroom behaviour.
In addition, I have experience in an alternative placement (Legoland) with children ages 5-16 years. This involved teaching groups of 5-20, adapting the information to suit different levels of learning, manage behaviour and support children with the physical learning.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 T-Level in early years, childcare and education and I am in my 3rd year of university with 6 months till finishing my Bachelor of Education (Hons) in primary teaching with qualified teacher status. I have training in working with children with SEN, Autism awareness in education and working together to safeguard children. I have a fully advanced DBS checked and hold a full UK driving licence with access to a car.
