About Me
I am a mum to five children who are all now adults. I am a warm friendly person who believes children deserve the best start in life. My childminding business is more like an extension to family rather than a business. I treat all children in my care as one of my own. I know how important it is to find safe, caring and reliable childcare that is flexible for you and your children. As an OFSTED registered childminder I am able to take children from birth upwards. My facilities include a large patio to the rear of my property and 2 grassed lawns to the front. Play is free flowing, following the child’s interest, needs and developmental stage. Toys, games and craft materials are out allowing children access to what they want to play with. I feel I offer a child friendly home environment that nurtures a child’s development and allows them to reach their true potential.

My Experience
I have been a registered childminder since 2005 and I have had plenty of experience with all aspects of childcare from the first time they step through my door to the time they go home and they are treated the same as my own. I have experience with multiple births as my youngest sons are identical twins. I like to help families through any difficulties they might face (sleeping, toilet training, eating fads, tantrums, etc.). Apart from my own children I enjoy caring for children of all ages seeing them develop into confident caring children, who have a knowledge and understanding of themselves and the world around them. I feel that with all of my experience, I am a calm person who will try resolve any issues to both the child’s and the parent’s needs.

My Availability
I have full and part time vacancies at present for children from birth upwards.
I am available from Monday to Sunday from 6am to 8pm

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.20 per hour
I charge £4.20 per hour on Weekdays.
This includes all snacks, meals and drinks.
I also offer FEL for 9 +months olds,2 and 3 year olds.
My hours are 6am - till 8pm Monday - Fridays (I do my best to fit my hours around parents working hours)
I offer school holiday cover.

Helen has been my childminder now for about 3 years, My eldestis 8yrs old and has ASD, and youngest is nearly 4, both would rather go to helens than school/nursery any day.
Helen and her family have been supportive towards me and my children over the years, and hopefully this will continue for many more, they have all become part of my extended family.
I work a variety of shifts and helen is always flexible around my requirement, if my shifts need to change will accomodate.
I honestly dont know what I would do without her ( and my children would be lost)

Helen has been minding my child for around 4 years since he was about 9 months old. I was worried about leaving him in childcare, helen and her family provided much needed support and reassurance which helped me to feel comfortable with leaving my child in her care. Both me and my little one have a great relationship with helen and her family and value them so much. My little one is so happy there, he often grumbles when we come too pick him up as he doesnt want too come home yet. He often speaks about helen and her family to everyone, he thinks of them as family.
Helen has helped tremendously with all aspects whilst my little one has been in her care eg toilet training, fussy eating habbits, settling in to school etc. Shes been a great help.
Very loving, caring, helpful, flexible, treats the children as individuals but all part of her family. Highly recommended from me :)
