My Experience

I have worked with children for 4 years , I love working with children as I have 2 children already. I have paediatric first aid training which allows me to carry out appropriate first aid when necessary. I like children to have new experiences through trips such as going to the local supermarket, park and library. I am fortunate enough to live in an area that has lots of local attractions such as universities, art galleries and museums. I would use this to my benefit by allowing children to explore these attractions and open a door for potential learning.
As a mother, I have learnt to be very patient, flexible and compassionate. I understand the importance of understanding the needs of children. I offer care that is inclusive and adaptable. I try my best to meet the needs of children by offering them a variety of experiences and opportunities.
I offer structure and routine as this is helpful in settling children. It is important that the children in my care are aware of what to expect next, as they often benefit from having structure and routine.
