Hi! I’m an art student currently studying at Goldsmiths University and am looking to do some babysitting. I turn 21 this June. I really enjoy being around children and seeing the world from their perspective. My childhood was undoubtedly some of the best years of my life; I still love games and make-believe stories which have manifested into an enjoyment of improv, comedy and the absurd realms of performance art as I’ve gotten older - but nothing compares to the imagination of the child! I am a good listener and enjoy engaging with children and listening to their ideas, concerns and curiosities with respect and genuine interest. I am able to be pragmatic and sensible and to ensure the health and safety of children. I am reliable, trustworthy, and can reply quickly to texts and calls. I am also flexible and able to respond to a variety of situations responsibly and creatively.
I am looking to find one to two days of work per week from the start of June to the 20th of July this summer, but am flexible if you’re looking for something different. I am also available two days a week throughout September.
My Experience
I have done a month of Monday to Friday childcare for a family with a 2, 6 and 8 year old during the 2022 summer and babysitting on other occasions. I am able to learn quickly and with transparency about what I may not understand.
My Qualifications
I have no childcare qualifications. I have GCSEs, A-level and Art Foundation qualifications and am currently doing my BA.
