My Summary

My Experience

I was the service manager for a local charity that provides respite care for children with complex medical and behavioural needs. I had been working for the charity for over 5 years and led a large team of 50 staff members in delivering social and leisure activities for children and young people. It is a real passion of mine to provide young people with diverse opportunities and help them to access some of the amazing opportunities I was fortunate enough to be given as a child. I couldn't imagine not working with children and absolutely love every second I get to spend with children. I really enjoy building relationships and working through challenges together.
I now currently work in a children’s home in a very similar role and still can’t get enough!

My Qualifications

I have a BSc in Psychology with Human Biology and a MSc in Clinical Psychology. I have completed Level 2 diplomas in Children and Young People's Mental Health, Safeguarding and Prevent, and Safe Administration of Medication, as well as being qualified as a Level 5 trauma-informed practitioner. I am currently undertaking a Level 4 apprenticeship in Residential Childcare. I have an enhanced DBS check, Safety Interventions trained and have a valid first aid certificate. I am trained in manual handling, hoisting, gastrostomy feeding, jejunostomy feeding, nasogastric feeding, pump feeding, medication administration, Midazolam and EpiPen competent. I also have been trained in the management of diabetes.

My Availability

I can be relatively flexible with my working hours in my full-time job so am happy to consider work outside of the availability given.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

I am willing to discuss fees with individual families to suit their needs.
