About Me
Hello, my name is Lucy and I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I am married with 5 children. We have a Labrador called Bentley and a British bulldog puppy called Arnie.
We all enjoy family time together, whether that's playing board games at home or going camping in Dorset.
We are within easy reach of stoke park, the Spectrum and The Royal Surrey Hospital.
I look forward to welcoming your child into our warm and loving home, where we will have lots of fun and giggles whilst following the statutory frame work of the EYFS.
My Experience
I have worked as a maternity support worker at the Royal Surrey Hospital in antenatal, postnatal and theatre wards which included a variety of different roles in supporting mum and their new born baby.
I have also worked in school catering, cooking and preparing meals for children who have school dinners.
I have always enjoyed looking after my friends children, either after school or in the school holidays and I think I’ve gain a lot of experience from raising my own children. However, I am always open to learning and improving my knowledge.

Lucy is approachable, professional, kind, caring and most helpful. She became my son's childminder when he was 9months old and he took to her straight away. Lucy has a gift around children. She offers a beautiful home from home environment and I cannot fault her care of my son. Always remaining thorough in her childminding methods, I could be left feeling secure and at ease that my son was left in a safe, stimulating and educational setting and I felt assured that he was happy and comfortable. On pick up time, my son often didn't want to come home!!! That told me all i needed. Hed had fun! I would highly recommend Lucy to anyone searching for an exceptional childminder.

Lucy has been looking after our 2.5 year old son Arthur for well over 6 months now and he absolutely loves it. Lucy’s setting has become a real home from home and it’s so lovely as a parent to drop him off and know he is going to be loved and nurtured. Arthur always found being dropped at childcare quite hard but since coming to Lucy’s, he goes in beaming with no hesitation.
Lucy often takes the children out to parks, farms and playgroups which is great to know that they’re all getting lots of interaction and different things going on in the day. Lucy always keeps me updated on everything and is a massive support to us. Arthur also loves all of Lucy’s children and talks about them a lot!
I have no hesitation in highly recommending Lucy and her lovely childcare setting. Thank you!

It was very daunting having to look for someone to leave our little boy with, but from the get go Lucy put our mind at ease. I wouldn’t have anyone else; Lucy is amazing and our son absolutely adores her! She’s become part of the family and we can’t thank her enough :)

Lucy has been looking after our 1 year old daughter Emily for a few months now and we couldn’t be happier. In just a small space of time our daughter has become so comfortable and is always beaming with joy where she has had such a fun day.
Lucy always talks us through how the day has gone and what they have been doing wether thats playing with toys, going out for the day or some messy play. Lucy often takes Emily out places like the park, soft play, etc. which is great as we know she doesn’t miss out with us being at work!
Since being with Lucy our daughter has come on leaps and bounds with her development and we are seeing her do new things daily which is amazing to see.
As a first time parent it is scary leaving your child in someone else’s care but Lucy instantly made us feel at ease and was happy to talk through any questions or worries we might have.
Lucy is simply great at what she does! We honestly couldn’t ask for anymore from Lucy and the care she provides.

Lucy has been looking after our 1 year old daughter for several months now and we couldn’t be happier with Lucy’s care. She is so thorough with all the formality elements but also creates weekly fun activities for our daughter. She regularly updates me and sends photos. Within only a couple of weeks our daughter was greeting Lucy with open arms and as a parent that’s all the reassurance I need. Would highly recommend!!
