About Me
I am half Greek and half English, generally spending the a few weeks at a time in Greece during holidays to see my friends and family out there so I guess you could say I can speak Greek. I have finished Surbiton High School and I was Chichester University to read Early Childhood Studies. I have been based in london most of the time due to commitments with Beaver, Scouts and Church (as a Sunday school teacher) and my ongoing commitment to babysits in the area. I love babysitting and playing with children. I have been babysitting and nannying the past 18 years on and off with a break when I had my own two children, with many children in many different circumstances. I am a non-smoker who is very passionate about working with young children from an early age.
My Experience
For the past 15 years I have been babysitting, I started off just for my next door neighbour and my road then they passed my number to their friends and so it expanded. I babysit all ages from 0-14. I have extensive experiance in primary school settings, nursery school settings and with the young children in the scouts. I am up to date on the brand new tests the government have outlined for year 1 children and would be happy to coach children for it and help them prepare and not be nervous for their first offcial examinations.
I have had work experiance in state maintained primary schools, private schools and private nurseries.
Last but not least, I am a mother of two brilliant children who are now 9 and 6, my first born does have multiple health issues and is on the neurodiverse spectrum so I very much have first hand with making sure ND children aren't held back, but rather things are adapted to make them able to do things.
My Qualifications
I have got strong GCSEs and I have studied A Level English, ICT and Business Studies. I have under taken a babysitting course and within was an in built British Red Cross First Aid course, however this has now expired.
My Availability
I am avaliable every day of the week, I do operate a first come first serve basis however if I can not accommodate you I will try to get one of my friends who share the same passion as me about children to look after your children.
If I am ever not avaliable to do a babysit for you I would make sure someone who has done the babysitting course and the first aid course would come and babysit for you.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.75 per hour
- Nannying from £14.50 per hour (gross)
For nannying- daytime from 14.50 an hour.
For babysitting- children going to bed/asleep
15.75 per hour until midnight
25.50 per hour after midnight
Minimum 2 hours pay per babysit.
Special Pricing will apply for Christmas and New Years eve and other oncall services such as emergancy childcare for expectant mothers.
Please note that cancellation within 24 hours will incur the full booking price.

Helen is an exceptionally competent and experienced nanny. She has a wealth of creative tricks to keep the children occupied, entertained, and well-behaved—even mine, who are pretty spicy! 😜 On top of that, she’s an excellent and healthy cook. I highly recommend Helen—she’s truly Nanny McPhee! ✅

Helen is such an amazing sitter for my son! He’s always so happy spending time with her and she is always so helpful! Highly recommend her!

Thank you for your really lovely review. Little man is such a pleasure seeing him develop and play.
She has been great for our two girls with helping with potty training and getting the girls excited in crafts. Helen is so adaptable which has been great for our family. Worried about leaving too good of a review as we'll be using her much more in the future and don't want her getting too busy ;)

We love having Helen join our family. She is kind, friendly, trustworthy and reliable.
She is helping us with before and after school hours, plays games with the children, prepares their tea and goes above and beyond like bringing caterpillars to butterfly kit.
I have no hesitation in recommending Helen.

Thank you for such a lovely review, your two are such lovely children. Bring on the holidays and lots of fun day trips and adventures with them!
Helen recently started helping us out after school two days a week. We both work and have 5x older kids (9-14) so it has been a lifesaver having her around to help us navigate school/ station pickups and their various clubs etc. She has a nice way with the kids and is always happy to adjust to their changing schedules and sort dinner etc. Def recommend (for all times other than ours 😄)
