About Me

I am a positive and caring individual with excellent communication, professional, committed, and passionate about children
learning, developing and overall well-being. I have the ability to empathise and interact with children on all levels
while keeping the necessary amount of discipline.

I love working with children because it is something I have always been interested in. In the future, I want to work in a field where I feel rewarded, and there is no better reward for me than enhancing and enriching a child's life. I feel it is critical for children to be surrounded by positivity and caring, as well as to be involved and creative in their early years. I would like to become a Nursery Teacher or a Physical Education Primary Teacher in the future, and working with children would provide me with valuable experience that goes beyond the textbook, as you develop a more personal bond with a child and gain a better understanding of their needs and cognitive abilities.

I did Art GCSE's, Graphic Products GCSE's and A-level Art as I always had an interest and passion for arts and crafts. When I was working as a nanny, I always planned art and crafts activities for the children as I believe that these activities provide children with a sense of accomplishment and allow them to take pride in their work, which boosts their confidence. Making art is a wonderful, safe approach to learning that it's okay to make errors and that doing things "wrong" can lead to an entirely new idea. It also helps develop fine motor skills.

I love spending time outdoors and I believe that playing outside is fun, exciting and important for children’s learning and development. As a nanny, I always spent loads of time outdoor with the children. We would go on walks to local rivers, lakes, parks and forests. Being outdoors allowed the children to explore nature and wildlife as well as being able to embrace the freedom and space to run around, skip, shout and jump.

I'm also very passionate about children being active and playing sports. This began when I decided that I want to study Physical Education, Sport and Youth Development at university. I believe that the skills learned during play and physical activity can contribute greatly to the overall development of children both mentally and physically. As a nanny, I always encouraged children to play sports activities in the park such as football, badminton and outdoor games such as frisbee, hopscotch, and create an obstacle course.
