About Me
My name is Maisy Locke and I am currently studying Primary Early Years Education at Edge Hill University. I am looking for paid work involving child care as I love spending my time around children! It’s also great experience for someone like myself to have!
My Experience
My current experience involves my University placement in a school nursery where I took care of the children, played with them and taught them engaging lessons in phonics maths and literacy. I was responsible for the needs of the whole class at times and I would make sure I always provided them with fun activities and educational resources. While meeting the needs of the group of children, I also worked with SEND children (special needs children) and therefore I do have some experience in this, it ranged from children with physical disabilities as well as children with autism and those children who were experiencing academic struggles and were not at expected levels of physical development. I am looking for more experience working with and looking after children of any age, preferably between 2-11 years.
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked
I have 10 GCSE certificates
3 A levels in Biology, Psychology and Sociology
I am just finishing my final year of Primary Teaching at Edge Hill University
