My Summary

My Experience

I have worked for over 10 years in a private day nursery focusing on Early years development. I was in charge of a room of fifteen children as as well as four members of staff, so I am fully aware of all the procedures and responsibilities I will have.
I also have 6 years experience working as a level 3 teaching assistant in a primary school, where I mainly concentrated on adapting the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for children with special educational needs. I worked on a one-one basis with two children who had server SEN, and was able to ensure they received appropriate support to enable them to access the full curriculum.
I believe children learn best through play and this is what I would ensure the children in my care received.
I have also attended forest school and this is something I would bring to my setting.
I am first aid trained and have completed safeguarding.
