About Me
I am currently an early years educator working at a forest school nursery working with children aged 9 months to 5 years. I am also nannying one day a week for a wonderful family.
I have a teaching background and I was a secondary physical education teacher for 5 years.
I have a bubbly, enthusiastic and caring personality and I put my all into everything I do. I am hard working, compassionate, honest and dependable.
I love the outdoors, water and nature, with two of my main hobbies being running and cycling.
My Experience
Current: Part time nanny and part time early years educator at a forest school nursery.
Previous:
1. Five years teaching experience, PE as my main subject but I have also taught geography.
2. Nanny and Au Pair (New Zealand)- G (3) B (5) G (7). I lived in and spend four months nannying and working with a beautiful family. Also worked in school supporting the eldest (non verbal- autistic).
3. International school Switzerland- two months spent living in as an activities leader and house parent to ages 9-12.
My Qualifications
- BA (hons) PE and Sports Coaching degree
- PE secondary qualified teacher status
- Paediatric First Aid trained (renewing on 22.06.24)
- Level 2 award in First Aid for Mental Health
- Currently studying for a level two in Neuroscience in the Early Years
My Availability
Monday ~ Wednesday I work full time hours (possibility for late babysitting)
Thursday ~ available for day/babysitting
Friday & Saturday ~ available for babysitting
