My Summary
About Me
I am 24 and have been working with children for 10 years.
*NOTE- I am looking for a weekends and evenings only role*
I have recently finished a nannying job working for a family with 3 children in central London. The youngest being 3 years old.
Working with children gives me a lot of energy. My mum is a teacher and so I’ve grown up spending time in schools with her volunteering helping the children learn how to read and write. I have a natural way of connecting with children and I understand each child is different and therefore has their own needs. I seek to understand these needs and nurture them. My emotional intelligence is something I pride myself on.
As I got older I took teaching into my own hands and did a project teaching children who struggle with fine motor skills how to write by using music.
I’ve worked in various drama clubs and have got a qualification in teaching children drama. Additionally, I have done princess parties for 5 years (dressing as a Disney princess and entertaining a group of up to 30 children at a birthday party for 2 hours) I am currently working on setting up my own company within this industry too!
Other things that I really love are: the gym, singing and dancing, science, learning new languages (currently Hebrew and French!) and reading both fiction and non fiction books!
I have been given feedback from other parents who left their children in my care that I am a fun, kind, intuitive, and intelligent carer.
My Experience
I have a great deal of experience in teaching children and volunteering at various schools and drama groups from the age of 11. Over time I naturally took on more principal roles in these jobs and was eventually paid. I also gained a qualification in teaching children.
In addition, I’ve also been a one-on-one tutor for an autistic boy. He was five years old and non-verbal. I was teaching him how to communicate. I therefore have a qualification to take care of autistic and special needs children. I have been a nanny for children as young as newborn babies all the way to age 16. I am very clean and tidy and I am a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer so the children will always be active and healthy!
