About Me
We are a family of five with a daughter (aged 6), son (3) and baby (6 months).
Our son and baby will attend full-time childcare however we are looking for after-school help with our eldest daughter 3-5 days a week. This would entail being home when our daughter's school bus arrives at 3.30pm and being with her until we arrive home at 5.30 or 6pm. We can extend these hours (eg. 1pm or 2pm to 6pm) to include some household tasks if more hours are needed/helpful.
Our daughter is autistic and communicates using sign language (and any props she can find!). She is a bright and bubbly child who is happiest when reading books and listening to music.
Our preference is for someone to come to our house (CB1) to meet her off the bus and to spend the afternoons with her either at home or out and about.
We are also happy to have someone live with us if desired. We have a double en-suite room with separate stairs available and live in central Cambridge. We currently have live-in childcare however we are looking for someone to start from September.
We are flexible and open to discuss all options. The pay is negotiable subject to experience and whether the role comes with or without accommodation.
